Birthday in Closedown

When we started Cassidy Eyecare in April 2010 the NZ economy was struggling to shake off the effects of the Global Financial Crisis, so maybe it's appropriate that our 10th birthday is spent in lockdown, dealing with the biggest economic shock to hit the world in living memory.

It's certainly not the celebratory month we had planned, but it does give us time to pause and reflect on how lucky we've been.

We run a small team, and we've been incredibly fortunate that Maggie and Noelle have been with us for the entire decade, and Kelly for most of it.

We also really appreciate the support we've got from our community - it's a privilege to be entrusted with your eyecare.  Thanks so much.

These are unprecedented times. The NZ economy has never been shut down like this before, and it is a difficult time for all of us.  A good time to celebrate the decade gone, and look forward to the challenges ahead.

Happy Birthday to us, and thanks to our staff and clients for making it happen :).
